Turn your dial to 780 AM and 96.1 FM weekday mornings from 6 until 10 and then head on over to knom.org/morning.
The Morning Show’s page will have daily recaps of what happened on the show, in case you are unable to hear every second of the show. It will also provide exclusive content not heard on the air.
I’m Matty, I’ve been hosting the show since July 11, 2o11 and I’ll be running this site for the rest of my time as the host of the show. It’s been an honor being a part of these Western Alaskan mornings the past year and I continue to find my job rewarding. Thank you for listening to the show, it just wouldn’t be the same waking up at 5:30am without you. In case you were wondering what I look like, since radio doesn’t allow you to see me, below is a photo of me DJ-ing The Morning Show.
I’ve often been asked why I don’t call the show “Matty in the Morning”, and I’ll tell you, it’s because then I wouldn’t have the pleasure of constantly being able to say, “you’re listening to your morning show”. After all, the show is about all of Western Alaska, not just me.
