Hi there! I’m Jie (pronounced like the letter ‘G’) and I was born and raised in Alaska. Growing up and surrounded by the rich landscapes of Alaska, I still have a deep appreciation for what our state offers. It’s a privilege to be part of the KNOM Radio family, where I’m immersed in storytelling that celebrates spirituality and Alaskan life.
My husband and I enjoy dipnetting, camping, cooking, and traveling. I also enjoy volunteering with our local health fairs and being a member of our Catholic church. When I’m at home, I unwind by running in the gym or outdoors and crocheting. And, of course, no day is complete without our dog, Ollie, accompanying us on our walks.
