NJUS Board Asks Common Council to Approve $6M ADEC Loan

Two resolutions asking the Nome Common Council to approve and accept loans from ADEC totaling over $6 million were passed at Thursday night’s NJUS Board meeting.

Pilgrim Produce hopes to have a weekly farmer’s market stand within Nome city limits starting up on Saturdays sometime this summer. According to Robert Bensin with BSDC, more information about the vegetables for sale, the selling times, and the stand location will be forthcoming.
