Coast Guard Cutter Will Stop in Nome on Way Through Northwest Passage

The US Coast Guard Cutter Maple cruises past the LeConte Glacier.

A Coast Guard vessel will stop in Nome on its way to cross the Northwest Passage. The voyage will support scientific research and future shipping through the Arctic.
