Born in Michigan, Margaret studied English before attending the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine, where she discovered a love for telling stories in the world of audio.
Margaret moved to Alaska in 2024 and got her start reporting on western Alaska as News Director at KDLG Public Radio in Bristol Bay.
When she’s not behind a microphone, Margaret can be found hiking, reading, or knitting a hat.
