There was a challenge on Monday to Chuck Wheeler’s candidacy qualifications, regarding his residency in Nome. It has yet to be settled, but it will be discussed at the Nome City Council Special Session on Thursday, October 6th at 12 Noon.

Whether or not the city shall institute a seasonal sales tax for the summer months of May, June, July, and August, raising it from 5% to 7% during those months.
