Three new commissioners will be sworn in at tonight’s Nome Port Commission meeting. Shane Smithhisler is filling Seat A, Scot Henderson is filling Seat D, and Derek McLarty is filling Seat G. After these three take the oath of office, the Port Commission will once again have seven members.
Then, the Commission is expected to discuss a scheduled update to the city’s zoning map, as well as plans for the Snake River dredging project assembled by PND Engineers.
The Port Commission meets tonight (Thursday, Dec. 15) at 5:30pm at City Hall.
