The Sitnasuak Native Corporation has announced a $500 Elder Dividend for 2016.
Shareholders ages 65 and over as of December 7, 2016 will be eligible to receive this Elder dividend. In addition, regular SNC shareholders will receive a dividend of $6.00 per share. SNC is owned by almost 2,900 Alaska Native shareholders.
In a release, SNC Board Chairman Bobby Evans says the 2016 earnings and dividends are a reflection of the teamwork of the Board of Directors, management and employees “to support our people and communities.”
2016 is the fifth year for the extra Elder benefit. SNC will start distributing dividends today, December 13th.
