Judge David Mannheimer has been reappointed as Chief Judge of the Alaska Court of Appeals.
Chief Justice of the Alaska Supreme Court, Craig Stowers, made the announcement on Wednesday, December 28th.
Judge Mannheimer has served as the chief judge since 2013 and on the Court of Appeals since November 1990. He has also worked as an assistant district attorney and assistant attorney general in Fairbanks, as well as an appellate attorney in the Office of Special Prosecutions and Appeals in Anchorage.
The two-year term started January 1st and runs through December 31, 2018.
