Alaska State Troopers determined that the death of an Alaska Native woman from Hooper Bay was a homicide.
26-year-old Arnoldine Simone Hill’s remains were first discovered on Saturday, when troopers received a report about a body lying along the Parks Highway in an area north of Willow.
According to an AST dispatch, Hill was last known to be alive on December 10th in Midtown Anchorage. Troopers believe Hill could have been in Anchorage, Wasilla, or Willow in the time before her death.
Hill is described as a four-foot eleven woman weighing about 150 pounds. Hill had shoulder-length black hair and a “distinct mole below her lower right lip”.
Troopers encourage anyone with information about Hill’s whereabouts or last known interactions to call (907)352-5401. An AST spokesperson would not say what caused Hill’s death, citing the ongoing investigation.
