Aaron Burmeister First to Check Out of Nikolai, Rest of the Top 5 Close Behind

Aaron Burmeister was the first out of Nikolai South. All Top 5 teams have taken their mandatory floating 8-hour rest. Now it is a mad dash to Skwentna, where all mushing teams take another mandatory 8 hour break.

2. Brent Sass – checked out of Nikolai South at 3:25 with 13 dogs
3. Dallas Seavey – checked out of Nikolai South at 3:50 with 12 dogs
4. Ryan Redington – checked out of Nikolai South at 6:56 with 9 dogs
5. Joar Ulsom – checked out of Nikolai South at 7:20 with 13 dogs
