I’m happy to announce KNOM’s 2nd Annual Children’s Writing Contest!
For the next month, KNOM’s Morning Show will be accepting poems and short stories from the children of Western Alaska, ages 12 and under. Submissions will be accepted through 12 midnight (Alaska time) on Saturday, December 21st.
Kids: Use your best grammar but, most importantly, all your creativity! Then, give your writing to a parent, guardian, or teacher to submit here.
Adults: Use the form below to make a submission for your child, young relative, or student (12 or younger). You may submit up to two (2) entries per child.
There will be top prizes and certificates for the best poem and short story (prizes TBA), and all applicants will be eligible for further drawing prizes. Page limit of 2 pages.
Winners will be announced on The Morning Show on December 24th, 2013. For more information contact me at psa@knom.org.
