Nome resident Steffen Booth made Iron Dog history in 2022 when he became the youngest to ever compete in the grueling snowmachine race. Just the year before, Evan Barber earned the title of youngest to race the Iron Dog.
This year, the duo is teaming up for the "World Longest, Toughest Snowmachine Race" wearing bib #3.
Steffen Booth and Evan Barber each come from legendary racing families. Steffen's father, Evan Booth, won two Iron Dogs in the 90s, while the Barber family tree has been involved in every Iron Dog since its inception in 1984.
