In the first Gospel of October, the apostles say to Jesus, “Increase our faith.” At KNOM, we often find ourselves praying that same simple prayer – especially now, as the days grow shorter and the nights longer. Faith is trusting in what we cannot yet see: like seeds quietly working beneath the soil, or the sun rising even on the cloudiest morning.
Jesus reminds us that even a mustard seed of faith is enough. Isn’t that comforting? We don’t need to have it all figured out. Just a little faith – planted in love and nourished by prayer – can grow strong enough to steady us, guide us, and inspire us to serve others with humility.
