Ingredients:
- 1 cups brown sugar
- 1 ¼ cups sugar
- 1 ¼ Crisco
- 4 eggs
- 1 can (16 oz) pumpkin
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
- 3 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon allspice
- ½ teaspoon ginger
- ½ cups chopped pecans
Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl combine sugar, Crisco, and eggs. Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed, add pumpkin.
- Sift together flour, salt, soda, and spices.Gradually blend into creamed mixture
- Beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Stir in pecans.
- Pour into greased and floured loaf pans
- Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes, remove from pan.
