Dear Friend…(October 2023)

In the first part of October, we remember and celebrate the life of St. Francis of Assisi.

St. Francis imitated Jesus Christ in many ways. Both were humble men who wandered around small villages preaching to whomever would listen.

Following St. Francis’ example, KNOM continues to serve as a messenger of love, mercy, hope and joy to all of those in remote Western Alaska through the radio waves.

“A single sunbeam is enough to drive away many shadows” is one of St. Francis’s most famous sayings. In that spirit, KNOM is an important light to our listeners in Western Alaska.

Thank you for your continued love, support and for helping KNOM make a positive difference in Western Alaska. We feel blessed every day by your kindness, generosity, and, most importantly, your friendship. If you have any prayer intentions, or if you would simply like to say hello, we would love to hear from you!
