Two city ordinances and three resolutions are on the docket at tonight’s Nome City Council meeting.
The two ordinances are up for second reading. The first focuses on regulating the Nome Municipal Cemetery, the second on amending sales tax.
In new business, the council will review three resolutions supporting the Disability Abuse Response Team (DART), the passage of SB 100, which authorizes municipal liens, as well as the naming of Nathan Barron Alley.
Police Officer Wade Harrison will also take the oath of office.
Tonight’s regular meeting of the Nome City Council starts at 7 p.m. in council chambers.
