Three men were injured in an assault in Teller, Alaska on Monday morning.
Alaska State Troopers received a report at 6:19am Monday that an unnamed suspect assaulted four men of the Okpealuk family. An undisclosed weapon injured three of the four. Anthony and Craig, ages 49 and 25, were sent by medevac to Anchorage for their injuries. James, who is 84 years old, was transported to Nome and is recovering at the Norton Sound Regional Hospital. 27-year-old Bradley Okpealuk was also involved but has sustained no reported injuries.
Troopers have identified a suspect but will not release the suspect’s name at this time while the investigation is ongoing.
