Suspect in Custody after Burglary at Stebbins Native Store

Stebbins, AK — A suspect is in custody after a burglary at the Stebbins Native store last week.

Alaska State Troopers were notified of the break-in on August 16th in the community of Stebbins.

After investigation, 27-year-old Dennis Thrasher of Stebbins is currently in custody after allegedly trespassing on the property, breaking into the store, stealing an estimated two-thousand-dollars in products and assaulting troopers.

Thrasher was arrested and transported to the Anvil Mountain Correctional Center in Nome. He is being held on $5,000 bail.
