Nome, AK — Abatement and sale of property in the City of Nome will be voted on Monday night at the Nome City Council meeting.
The council could finalize the sale of surplus property Block 85, Lot 3A, to Kawerak, Inc., in addition to starting abatement proceedings for five properties in the city that are deemed either a fire or health hazard or a public nuisance.
Other business on the agenda is an ordinance that would add Historic Preservation Commission duties to the Nome Planning Commission.
The Nome City Council meets at 7 p.m. on Monday night.
