First Time In Top Five, Jessie Royer

With her 13th Iditarod finish, Jessie Royer achieved her first crack into the top five. Posting consistently fast run times throughout the race, Royer said that she was very pleased with how her team ran this year.

Royer’s official time on the trail for Iditarod 2015 was 9 days, 1 hour, 51 minutes, and 9 seconds. Fans came out in droves to greet her on the sunny, Wednesday morning arrival. Jessie was excited to place in the top five. “I just come into this race every year just to do the best I can with this team, and get my team to Nome as fast as I can. And whatever it is, is great.”
