Sounding Board: Christmas Traditions and Memories

This week’s Christmas Memories & Traditions show is over, but here are highlights for those who missed it:

Edna called to share her Christmas wishes with family members that live faraway. She shared her tree-decorating traditions and how she keeps the holiday cheer, despite being apart from her family.

Richard from Nome spoke about traditional Christmas events that have gone on for years in Nome, including students’ production of The Grinch. He describes how honest and sweet the holidays are in Western Alaska.

Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus called in from the North Pole to update us on how Christmas preparations are going and to send a message to the children of Western Alaska.

We also spoke with Roxy in Wales about a special Christmas memory when Santa came to town with the Alaska Air National Guard.

Christmas is right around the corner, so on this week’s Sounding Board, we’re getting into the holiday spirit!

We want to hear how you celebrate.
