Congratulations to Sarah Wade of Nome, winner of The Morning Show’s Children’s Creative Writing Contest!
We received many outstanding submissions from our region. Almost all of this year’s entries were fiction pieces, so we decided to merge all our categories (poetry, fiction, and non-fiction) into one.
The winners were as follows:
- 1st Place: Sarah Wade, “The Keeper of the Key”
- 2nd Place: Raina McRae, “Christmas Town”
- 3rd Place: Reese Banhke, “Edward Kenway’s First Christmas on a Boat”
- 4th Place: Britney Gold, “1,000 Stars”
- Honorable mention to Vivienne Heers for “The Alien Dog.”
- Honorable mention to Aaron M. for “Aaron’s Poem.”
