Even though ours is a region plentiful in reindeer, that’s not how Santa Claus traveled to one of the communities KNOM serves for a special visit last month.
As reported by reporter Francesca Fenzi, Mr. and Mrs. Claus took more extreme transportation — a C-130 cargo plane — to make the trek to Shishmaref, Alaska as part of the special program “Operation Santa Claus.”
